@matigo Yes, indeed. Patience is a virtue when communicating with anyone… but not everyone has patience… or else, they would just rather not bother to understand, as it does not meet their needs in the moment. With limited time, limited patience and limited understanding, it's easy to see how people just end up giving up in the interim and agree to disagree… or not to try at all.
There is a specific relationship that has been bothering me for years that matches the above dilemma, one in which it feels like I have been making all the efforts and still I see no effort from the other person. The closer the person is (or should be) to you, the harder it feels to just give up.
