Took the Meitetsu train down to Toyota-shi this morning and visited the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, where I checked out the exhibit “Anti-Action (アンチ・アクション 彼女たち、それぞれの応答と挑戦)”, a feature of paintings and artworks from women in the post-war era in Japan.
The weather was good and the pollen must have been negligible, as I didn’t have any hay fever symptoms like violent sneezing or runny nose while I was out, fortunately. The trip from my place is a bit long (about an hour and a half), but it’s broken up into two segments: Iwakura to Chiryu, and Chiryu to Uwagoromo, and finally an 18-minute walk or so to the art museum, which didn’t seem as long as that after all. The museum area was very quiet and peaceful, and there were not many people visiting the museum today.
